Fulham Pier
-
Seven years in the making, Fulham Football Club have developed west London’s newest riverside destination: Fulham Pier. Their brand new stand hosts food, drink, music, art and leisure – morning, noon and night. Fulham Pier needed a brand and positioning that would resonate from conception to launch and beyond, retaining their existing football fans whilst reaching new audiences for their non-match day offering.

As part of the team at bandstand I worked on art direction for their launch campaign. As well as directing candid-feeling lifestyle shoots to create their content bank, we shot snappy interviews with their street food vendors to tease on social during the countdown to opening.
We also shot a film that showcases the development of Fulham Pier and the ingenuity of turning their stadium into something beyond football for the local community. Central to the success of this film was to draw on the football club as a key part of the heritage, geography and starting point of Fulham Pier, whilst looking to its future as an independent venue.
